EDWARD P. “RAIN MAN” FERGUSON, 54, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:23 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 in his residence.

He was born October 26, 1960 in Brazil, IN to Lloyd L. Ferguson and Anna Mae (Sherrill) Ferguson.

Survivors include the love of his life, Holly Ferguson of Terre Haute, IN; daughters, Shania Ferguson of Terre Haute, IN, Sara Ferguson, Cassandra Ferguson and Faith Ferguson; son, Trentin Dale Higar and companion, Merry of Jasonville, IN. He lived with his adopted mom and caregiver, Sue & Bob Murphy of Jasonville, IN; sisters, Betty Jo Dickison & Michael of Dennison, IL, Penny Hopper of New Haven, IN; brothers, Ralph “Junior.” Butler, Jr. of Jasonville, IN, Leslie “Les” Ferguson and companion, Anita of Brazil, IN; brother-in-law, Rob & Christy White of Lewis, IN; several nieces, nephews & cousins; two of his best friends, Steve Spencer of Coatsville, IN, Earl King of Brazil, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Buster White; close friend, Jeff Borum.

Ed was a graduate of Van Buren High School. He had worked as an over the road truck driver. Ed attended the Faith Community Church in Dugger, IN and Jasonville Church of God and. He enjoyed drag racing, working in his garage and riding his Harley. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Ferris officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
