MELVIN W. FISHER, 58, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:30 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 in his residence.
He was born August 16, 1957 in Sullivan, IN to George W. Fisher and Ida M. (Alexander) Fisher.
Survivors include his daughters, Christina Marie Purcell of Carlisle, IN, Mellissa Ribble of Texas, Jennifer Fisher of Terre Haute, IN; sons, David Fisher of Vincennes, IN, Nick Ribble of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Tylor Maxey, Brittany Nesting, Hope Nesting, Jacob Murphy, Christian Fisher, Jazmine McDowell, Nicole Cesinger, Ezekiel Thompson, Josiah Fisher; great-grandchildren, Colton Maxey, Lillian Maxey; sister, Vanita Angelita Hagar of Shelburn, IN; brother, Robert Leo Fisher of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eathel May Pierce.
Melvin was a truck driver for several different companies. He was very musical and enjoyed playing his guitar. He also liked riding his Harley’s and liked building miniature log homes.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana.
Cremation was chosen and no Visitation or Funeral Services were scheduled.
