FORREST G. WIER Jr., 81, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:18 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 in his home in Jasonville, IN.

He was born October 19, 1939 in South Bend, IN to Forrest G. Wier Sr. and Rose (Woodcock) Wier.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Wier of Jasonville, IN; children, Darrell Keller (Charla) of Terre Haute, IN, Gary Wier (Jill) of Plainville, IN, Sue Keller of Jasonville, IN, Connie Wogoman (Tim) of Dugger, IN, Angie Wier of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren — 12; great-grandchildren — 17; sister, Delores Jann (Jim) of Caledonia, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Tony Keller, Barry Keller; granddaughter, Heather Keller; sister, Zella Wier.    .

Forrest graduated from James Whitcomb Riley High School in South Bend, IN. He worked at G.E. in Bloomington, IN until he retired. Forrest was a member of Jasonville Assembly of God, and worked in the food bank. He enjoyed going to the Jasonville Senior Citizens and playing cards. He was an avid Chigo Cubs Fan and enjoyed watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchidren participate in their various activities.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services are immediately following at 5 P.M. with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.

Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Forrest to Jasonville Assembly of God. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
