RONALD DALE FRY, 75, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 in his residence.
He was born November 2, 1938 in Jasonville, IN to Lloyd M. Fry and Violet Louise (Kessinger) Fry.
Survivors include his sons & daughters-in-law, Daniel K. & Debra Fry of Jasonville, IN, Chad A. & Joyce Fry of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Clint Fry, Cortney Kennett, Travis Gilbert, Matt Gilbert, Andy Gilbert; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Kim & Helen Monroe of Carlisle, IN, Tammy & Joe Laurick of Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Patricia “Pat” (Miller) Fry; 2nd wife, Joanne “Pat” (Monroe) Fry; brother, Robert Fry; sister, Delores Wininger.
Ron was a Jasonville High School Graduate Class of 1957. He is retired from Peabody Coal Company where he worked as a welder, pan operator and was a supply truck driver. He was a member of the UMWA and Wilson General Baptist Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 to 11 a.m. service time Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor James Phipps officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
