WILLARD “BILL” EUGENE GASKINS, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 in his residence.
He was born December 1, 1940 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Frank Gaskins and Myrtle (Fisk) Gaskins.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Karen S. (Gardner) Gaskins of Terre Haute, IN whom he married on June 9, 1963; sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline Gorby of Westfield, IN, Evelyn Sue & Carl Keller of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Charles Gaskins of Wilfred, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill was a 1960 Graduate of Hymera High School. He retired from AutoZone. He was a member of the Jasonville United Methodist Church and of the Good Sam’s Cross Roads 75 Camping Club. Bill liked to travel.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Cox Funeral Home and Monday 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time at the Jasonville United Methodist Church. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at the church with Pastor Christopher Irvine officiating.
Interment was at the West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions were made in memory of Bill to the Back Door Food Pantry. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
