EVA MAE GILLASPY, 93, of Clay City, Indiana passed away at 2:00 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 in Exceptional Living Center of Brazil, Indiana.

She was born September 23, 1919 in Knox County, IN to Clifford C. Russell and Myrtle M. (Richardson) Russell.

Eva married John Robert Gillaspy on June 15, 1957 and he passed away on June 18, 1981.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Jerrol & Wanda Crecelius of Clay City, IN; sister, Maxine Drogich of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, John Rehmel, Anita Rehmel, Carol Zoll, Jim Rehmel, Jeremy Crecelius; step-granddaughter, Juanita Martin; great-grandchildren, Brandon Rehmel, Jessica Zoll, Hannah Bose, Ann Moss, Jacob Moss, Cheyenne Peterson, Christina Gayheart, Tammy Pitts, Timothy Pitts, Bryan Pitts, Braden Crecelius; great-great-grandchildren, Jake Passen and Abygail Gayheart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joyce Rehmel; son-in-law, Norman Rehmel; sister, Margie Horst; granddaughter, Nancy Hedges; grandson, Freddie Hedges.

Eva was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and her flower garden.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. service time Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.

Interment was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, Indiana.
