MARILYN R. GOGGINS, 67, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 in her residence.
She was born July 29, 1946 in Terre Haute, IN to Arthur E. Griggs and Margaret (Gadberry) Griggs.
Survivors include her husband, Rhonie D. Goggins of Jasonville, IN whom she married on November 9, 1969; daughters & sons-in-law, Denise & Jeff Collins of Jasonville, IN, Susan & Jon Roberts of Worthington, IN, Peggy & Jason Barton of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Derek & Sarah Collins, Brooke & Court Griffith, Dylin Collins, Corbin Goggins, Rhonie Brousard, Easton Mize, Jayce Barton, Kaitlyn Barton; great-grandson, Beau Collins; sister & brother-in-law, Nancy & Bob Boruff of Linton, IN; brother, Billy Griggs of Jasonville, IN; aunt, Dorothy Griggs of Jasonville, IN; nieces, Christy Terrell and Cindy Carr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Love.
Marilyn graduated from Jasonville High School Class of 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christadelphian Church in Jasonville. Marilyn loved watching the grandkids ballgames and being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the funeral home with Funeral Services immediately following visitation.
Contributions were made to the funeral home in memory of Marilyn to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
