CHERI ANN (YERYAR) GRIFFITH, 47, Jasonville, IN passed away at 4:10 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 at home.
She was born May 4, 1964 in Linton, IN to Jim Yeryar and Shelia (Weatherwax) Yeryar.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Doug Griffith of Jasonville, IN whom she married on May 14, 1983; parents, Jim & Shelia Yeryar of Midland, IN; daughter & son-in-law, Shea & Jay Boram of Linton, IN; twin granddaughters, Jaedyn & Jordyn Boram; sister & brother-in-law, Denise & Todd Gambill of Midland, IN; grandfather, James “Red” Yeryar of Midland, IN; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews; special friends, Bob & Charlene Mowery of Linton, IN.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John & Margaret Weatherwax; paternal grandmother, Laura Yeryar.
Cheri graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1982, then from ISU with a Bachelor’s Degree, then from Wesleyan University in Indianapolis with a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught for 17 years at Metropolitan School District of Shakamak, attended and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and El Shaddi Emmaus Community.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lebanon Baptist Church in Midland, IN. Funeral Services were 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Lebanon Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Darr officiating. Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
