PHYLLIS L. HAYES GRIFFITH, 90, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:33 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 in I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born October 30, 1923 in Linton, IN to Floyd Heaton and Iva Ellen (Sidebottom) Heaton.
Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Jerry & Linda Hayes of Bloomington, IN, Bob & Polly Hayes of Ellettsville, IN, Dave & Pat Hayes of Jasonville, IN; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; daughters & sons-in-law, Agnes & Don Miller of Linton, IN, Sue & John Fougerousse of Jasonville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Bruce F. Hayes in 1956; 2nd husband, Joseph Griffith in 1971; daughter, Jovene Sherer; sister, Anita Poe.
Phyllis was a homemaker.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11-1 Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Zach Martin officiating.
Interment was at Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.
