EVA J. (ST. JOHN) HARVEY, 94, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, November 26, 2015 in her home.

She was born September 23, 1921 in Jasonville, IN to Harry St. John and Della Chloe (Phipps) St. John.

Eva married William (Bill) Harvey on September 12, 1946 and he passed away on July 5, 1998.

Survivors include her son, Mark Harvey of Jasonville, IN; daughters & sons-in-law, Kristen & Darin Davis of Jasonville, IN, Charlene & Victor Moore of Jasonville, IN; special niece, Martha & Jeff Griffith of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Kara & Jim DeWitt, Adi & Jason Eckard, Krissy & Brad Rehmel, Roxy & Marc Napier, Brittney Davis; great-grandchildren, Kali DeWitt, Rayden Rehmel, Wade Kent, Jaylee Sciscoe, Dylan Eckard, Taylor Eckard; brother & sister-in-law, Raymond & Sandy St. John of Aurora, IL; many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Della Chloe St. John; husband, William Harvey; daughter, Belinda Reedy; sisters, Blanche Moss, Norma Letsinger, Margaret Hastings, Clodene Bitz, Merle McQueary; brothers, Albert St. John, Carl St. John, Glen St. John.

Eva was a 1939 graduate of Jasonville High School. She was a homemaker. Eva was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Linton, IN and had been very active there. She liked to browse the internet. Eva enjoyed politics and loved babysitting her grandkids. She also enjoyed watching the classic movie channel on Television.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at Lebanon Cemetery with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made in memory of Eva to the Brain Injury Association of Indiana (biaindiana.org), Riley Children’s Hospital or St. Judes.
