MYRNA JO (GILLESPIE) HASEMAN, 75, of Jasonville, Indiana went home to be with the Lord 6:30 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at home after a long, hard battle with cancer with her family by her side.

She was born September 14, 1938 in Jasonville, IN to Joe Gillespie and Rosemary (Anthony) Gillespie.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Haseman of Jasonville, IN whom she married on December 19, 1976; her children, Whitney & Allen, Jim & Susan, Tedd & Vivian, Paul, Jerri Lynn & Kevin; grandchildren, Lacey & Chris, Ashley & Zach, Meredith, Clinton, Madison, Sydney and Brenann; great-grandchildren, Ainslee, Bailee, Emilee, Christopher, and Mia; siblings, Laura “Lolly” & Melvin, Chuck, Brenda & Charlie, SueAnn & Maury and Gerald “Skeeter” & Sheila; a multitude of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded into death by her parents Rosemary & Winston Boston and Joe Gillespie; daughter, Leslie; sister, Linda; brother, Dale.

Myrna attended Jasonville High School graduating in 1956 and attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. She retired from Bemis in Terre Haute, IN after 19 years of being an Executive Assistant. She also worked as a Legal Assistant in Indianapolis and for John Rowe. She was a Real Estate Broker with Don Miller at Miller-Haseman Reality. When she retired to Myrtle Beach, Myrna took the South Carolina Real Estate exam scoring a 99% and worked at Deerfield Reality.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. service time Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 10 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor David Whittington and Pastor Robert Sampson officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.

In lieu of flowers the family requested that contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
