EUNICE MARIE HASKETT, 95, of Sullivan, IN and formerly of Jasonville passed away at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Millers Merry Manor, Sullivan, IN.
She was born October 4, 1917 in Sullivan County, IN to Earl Robertson and Lula Mae (Cox) Robertson.
Marie married Lowell Haskett on August 17, 1935 and he passed away on July 9, 1983.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Linda & Tom Taylor of Farmersburg, IN, Kay Ballard of Jasonville, IN, Karen Bonham of Dugger, IN, Sherry & Gary Napier of Sullivan, IN; sister, Beulah Walters of Sullivan and formerly of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Jay & Cindy Slater, Larry Slater, Lisa Slater, Michelle & Kevin Kerns, Debbie & Kevin Hudson, Mike Ballard, Sheila Fulford, Elizabeth & Curt Hoesman, Lora Ballard, Terry & Cheryl Bonham, Christina & Thad White, Greg & Stephanie Napier, Doug & Amy Napier; two step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; four nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Ruel Robertson, Leon Robertson and Donald Robertson; sister, Geneva Johnson.
Marie was a homemaker and member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Cookie Baker. She loved camping, fishing and squirrel hunting. She had worked as a cook at Kluesmeirs.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday. Funeral Services were 3 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Napier and Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Antioch Cemetery in rural Dugger, IN.
