ALMEDIA GLEN GOODWIN HOALT, 90, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 7:57 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016 in her residence.
She was born January 16, 1926 in Bruceville, IN to Raymond Mengedoht and Ethel (Messer) Mengedoht.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn “CJ” (Goodwin) & Allen Zuder of Worthington, IN, Nancy (Goodwin) & Larry Snellenberger of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Michael & Patty Zuder, Jeffrey Zuder, Michelle & Lee Hudson, Larry Dale & Tracy Snellenberger; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Max Goodwin; 2nd husband, Virgil Hoalt; sisters, Mary Moore, Lois Smith, Deloris McCarter.
Almedia was a 1944 Bruceville High School Graduate. She was a member of New Covenant Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed reading her bible, gardening and canning.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Cassel and Pastor Darrin McDonald officiating.
Interment was at Miria Creek Cemetery in Bicknell, IN.
