RONALD LEE HOLLINGSWORTH SR, 67, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 9:29 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2016 in IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN.
He was born April 3, 1949 in Terre Haute, IN to Otis Lee Hollingsworth Jr. and Mary Florence (Musgrave) Hollingsworth.
Ronald married Vicki L. (Goodman) Hollingsworth on January 3, 1967 and she passed away on February 19, 2014.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie McKenzie & Anthony Fusco of Worthington, Christina & Charlie Moss of Washington, Cindy & Jack Denny of Jasonville; sons & daughters-in-law, Ronald L. Jr. & LaKrista Hollingsworth of Jasonville, Michael & Rebecca Hollingsworth of Jasonville, Brian & Amanda Rose Hollingsworth of Jasonville; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally & Darrell “Cat” Burger of Linton, June & Raymond Moore of Spencer; brothers, Jerry Hollingsworth of Sullivan, Carl Hollingsworth of Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife.
Ronald was a mechanic for Don Putoff—Putoff Chevrolet for many years. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, fishing and shooting guns.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
