GREGG W. HUMPHREY, 54, of Indianapolis, IN passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 in his home in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born March 22, 1961 in Terre Haute, IN to William G. Humphrey and Patricia L. Humphrey.

Survivors include his mother, Pat L. Humphrey of Jasonville, IN; wife, Jennifer Humphrey of Indianapolis, IN; children, Amanda Humphrey, Ariel Humphrey, Samuel Humphrey, and Elyse Humphrey; special cousin, Bert Utterback of Terre Haute, IN: uncles, Steve Prout of Jasonville, IN, and Earl Prout of Bloomington, IN; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, William G. Humphrey.

Gregg was a 1979 graduate of Shakamak High School and went on to Indiana State University where he graduated with a Master’s degree in Chemistry & Computer Science. He was the campus campaign leader for “Ronald Reagan for President.” Gregg worked for IBM and Kodak. Gregg attended Lawton Street Christian Church. He loved music—played the trumpet in school—and enjoyed dancing.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN immediately following service.
