WILLIAM R. HUNT, 69, of Hymera, Indiana passed away at 9:10 a.m. October 31, 2016 in his residence.
He was born October 17, 1947 in Terre Haute, IN to William R. Hunt and Margot Lou (Woodruff) Hunt.
Survivors include his mother, Margot Lou Hunt of Hymera, IN; brother, Terry Hunt of Hymera, IN; 1 niece; 3 nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-great-nephew; 2 uncles, Carl Pizzola of Terre Haute, IN, James Pizzola of Terre Haute, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Hunt.
William was a 1966 Graduate of Hymera High School. He worked on the Gulf of Mexico, Singapore Oil Exploration and worked through the Labors Local 204 out of Terre Haute. He had worked on the Milwaukee Railroad in the early 70’s. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Germany. William was a Lifetime Member of Hymera American Legion Post #298.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was scheduled from Noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Cox Funeral Home.
Interment was at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, IN.
