JOHN D. IRONS, 62, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:55 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 in his residence. He was born September 21, 1948 in Linton, Indiana to Bobby D. Irons and Laura E. (Keagy) Stiffler.
Survivors include his spouse, Patricia A. (Deschamp) Irons of Jasonville whom he married on November 23, 1985; mother, Laura Stiffler of Jasonville; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Rhonda Irons of Jasonville; grandchildren, John Lee Irons, Mark Irons and Laura Sue Irons; brother, Rob Irons of Jasonville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jamie & Toby Soncrant of Jasonville and Annie & Scotty Estelle of Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby D. Irons.
John was a carpenter with USA Construction for 12 years.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 2 -7 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home with Funeral Services directly following visitation at 7 p.m. January 20, 2011 with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.
