IVA JEAN (Kessinger) ST. JOHN, 83, of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away at 7:25 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 in Greene County General Hospital, Linton, Indiana. She was born April 26, 1926 in Jasonville, Indiana to Newton Kessinger and Mary (Passen) Kessinger. Her husband Carl St. John preceded her in death on May 15, 1991.
Survivors include a great-niece, Vicky & Tim Bledsoe of Linton; great-great-nephews, Jeremy & Andrea Edmondson, Andy Edmondson, Joshua Edmondson and Ridge Johnson; caregivers, Kim, Barb & Cindy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; sisters & brothers-in-law, Louise & Lloyd “Fat” Fry and Thelma & Cyril Luther.
Iva was a homemaker.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian St, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 with Pastor Mike Roth officiating. Interment followed in Lebanon Cemetery, Midland, Indiana.
