CAROLYN L. JACOB, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 in her residence.  

She was born July 10, 1941 in Linton, IN to John Corbin and Lois (Hollingsworth) Corbin.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Keith E. Jacob of Jasonville who she married on October 7, 1962; children, Mike Jacob (Mary) of Jasonville, Susan Edwards of Shelburn, Julie Rehmel (Brian) of Jasonville; grandchildren, Michial Jacob (Sarah), Ben Jacob (Margaret), Ethan Jacob (Tayler), Corbin Rehmel, Meghan Stewart (Dustin), Luke Edwards, Emily Edwards; 8 great-grandchildren and another one on the way; sister, Cheryl Corbin (Jess) of Linton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn was a 1959 graduate of Linton High School. She and her husband, Keith, along with his brother, Bill, and sister-in-law, Phyllis, built Jacob Brothers’ Farm. She was a member of Shakamak Community Church, the O.E.S. Lodge-Jasonville, and the Perennial Exchange Club. Carolyn enjoyed her Monday night cards group, Ladies Day at the Senior Center and her High School Classmates get-together. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting, and family gatherings.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to service time on Monday all at the Shakamak Community Church, 5730 W. ST RD 48 in Jasonville. Funeral Services were10 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at the church with Pastor Ron Riggs officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
