DONETTA R. JACOB, 68, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 9:49 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2011 in the Yellow Rose Unit Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, IN.

She was born November 3, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI to Anzel Bedwell and Margaret (Stevenson) Bedwell.

Donetta married James R. Jacob August 18, 1962 and he passed away on December 2, 1993.

Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Rita & Paul Newsom of Shelbyville, IN, Jamie & Christian Wilson of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Brittany Newsom, Allysa Vince, Aubrey Vince, Ashton Wilson; sister, Alice Jean Stockrahm of Linton, IN; many nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Wilma Sevier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Jacob; sisters, Rosemary Hernke, Wilma Ashcraft, Margaret Wagner.

Donetta had previously worked for Columbia House in Terre Haute, Bloomfield State Bank in Linton and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Shakamak Community Church, Red Hatters, Tri-Kappa, Ladies Auxiliary, Jasonville American Legion Post #172 and graduated from Midland High School Class of 1960. She enjoyed collecting tea pots and going out to eat. Donetta loved her children and grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Hill officiating.

Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
