JAMES H. LADSON, 77, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 4:25 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born December 28, 1932 in Greene County, IN to Ray Ladson and  Dochia  (Pitcher) Ladson.

Survivors include his wife Lurena “Rena” Kay (Neal) Ladson of Jasonville whom he married November 17, 1956; daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Bill Baize, Jr. of Linton; sons & daughters-in-law, Doug & Annette Ladson of Linton, Keith & Shelley Ladson of North Carolina;  grandchildren, Sara & Broc Sparks, Eric & Tiera Baize, atie Ladson, Brooke Baize, Dakota Ladson; great-grandson, Coen Michael Sparks; brother & sister-in-law, Albert Ray & Doris Ladson of Jasonville;  one niece & two nephews; best friend, Bill Enstrom of Jasonville. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Ladson; half-sister, Doris Garrett.

Jim retired on April 1, 1993 from NSWC Crane after 33 years of service, served in the U.S. ARMY, was a member of Jasonville American Legion Post #172, V.F.W. Post #6225, F. & A.M. Lodge #530, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 5-9 p.m. Wednesday with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7 p.m. and 9 a.m. until  funeral  services. Thursday. Funeral Services were 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 with Pastor Mark Messmer along with speaker Bruce Borders. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery, Midland, IN with military graveside rites.
