JANETT S. EBERWINE, 68, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Royal Oaks Health Care & Rehabilitation Center in Terre Haute, IN. She was born February 22, 1941 in Clay County, Indiana to Glen Burger and Helen (Perry) Burger. Her husband Leroy Eberwine preceded her in death on December 30, 1984.

Survivors include sisters, Shelby Goble of Jasonville, Joan Strahla of Jasonville, Carolyn Anderson of Terre Haute, Dee Dee Woods of Jasonville, Billie Crowder of West Baden Springs, IN; brothers, Fred Burger of Coalmont, Donald Burger of Texas, Bob Burger of Jasonville, Kenny Burger of Shelburn, Darrell Burger of Linton, Mike Burger of Jasonville; special friend: Dorothy Felker of Terre Haute; many niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Clarence Burger.

She helped her dad farm, worked for Sarkes Tarzian, CBS-Columbia House, and Peabody Coal Company and was a member of UMWA.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. No public visitation was scheduled. Graveside Services were 3 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Highland Lawn Cemetery Chapel on Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, IN with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Interment followed in Highland Lawn Cemetery.
