JANICE JOAN (Earlywine) HUSBAND, 75, of Coalmont, Indiana passed away at 12:55 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus in Terre Haute, IN. Janice was born  June 30, 1935 in Clay County, IN to Harold Earlywine and Harriet (Crist) Earlywine. She married  Gene Husband on August 3, 1991 and he preceded her in death on August 2000.

Survivors include a brother, James R. (Bob) Earlywine of Coalmont, IN; nieces, Rita Duncan, Jackie  Deschamp, and Margie Hudson;  six great nieces and nephews; seven great-great-nieces and nephews;  step-children, Bryan Husband, Nancy Neff, and Max Husband. He was preceded in death by his  parents; husband, Gene Husband.

Janice was blessed with a strong faith and wonderful friends, Linda Bemis, Norma Bemis, Wilma Cochran and many others. She had been employed at Indiana Bell where she was a senior accounting clerk retiring in 1985. She was a member of Friendly Grove Baptist Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, Indiana. Graveside Services were 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Friendly Grove Cemetery in rural Lewis, IN with Pastor Jason Hill officiating. Contributions in lieu of flowers were made to the Susan B. Komen foundation or ministry choice.
