JEFF B. ECCLES

JEFF B. ECCLES, 56, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 4:01 P.M. Friday September 4, 2020 in Franciscan Health Indianapolis, IN.

He was born March 30, 1964 in Brazil, IN to Robert E. Eccles and Dorothy (Jenkins) Grady.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Ronda Eccles of who he married on March 17, 1989; daughter, Alysa Swalls (Shelby) of Lewis, IN; grandson, Case Swalls; mother, Dorothy (Jenkins) Grady of Jasonville, IN; siblings, Cindy Rawley (Jay) of Jasonville, IN, Cathy Mason (Mike) of Jasonville, IN, Christy Kennett (Kenny) of Jasonville, IN; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eccles and step-father, James Grady.

Jeff graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1982, he worked for AMCOR formerly Bemis as a machine operator for 33 years. Jeff served on the Lewis Township Executive Board and had worked on the Jasonville Fire Department for 13 years. Jeff loved his sports and had coached basketball for 17 years and softball for 27 years.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday and 9 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.  For the safety of the family and community we ask that masks be worn by all who attend, the family asks that casual laker blue be worn if possible.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Jeff to Shakamak Athletic Dept.. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
