JEFFREY L. “JEFF” HADLEY, 63, of Terre Haute and formerly of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
He was born November 9, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to James L. Hadley and Patricia M. (Poland) Hadley.
Survivors include his wife, Shizue (Shinozuka) Hadley of Japan; children, Kiyoko Moody (Matt) of Terre Haute, John Hadley of IL, Michael Hadley of FL, Jennifer Grant of FL; granddaughter, Elizabeth Grant; siblings, Chris Hadley (Kathy) of Kankakee, IL, Mark Hadley of KY, LuAnn McDonald (Dale) of Jasonville; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Susan Jan Hadley, Martha Sue Hadley.
Jeff was a Graduate of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL. He retired as a cook from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service. He also had worked at ISU, Wabash Valley Correctional Facility and Sharon’s Kountry Kitchen-his first job in Indiana. Jeff loved to fish, enjoyed NASCAR, wrestling, ISU basketball and football games.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Services will immediately follow visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy Hamilton officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
