DILLON MATTHEW JENKINS, 21, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 5:56 a.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Greene County, IN.
He was born March 22, 1993 in Sullivan, IN to Chris Jenkins and Melinda (Hert) Jenkins.
Survivors include his parents, Chris & Melinda Jenkins of Jasonville, IN; grandparents, Jeanne & Forrest Wayne Metcalf of Sullivan, IN, Bev Jenkins of Jasonville, IN; uncles, Roger & Kelly Soncrant of Jasonville, IN, Craig Jenkins of Jasonville, IN; girlfriend, Kaitlin Jones; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Michael Thomas on September 4, 2009; grandfather, Dannie Jenkins on March 20, 2010; great-grandmother, Lola Mae Deakins on October 1, 2014.
Dillon was a Shakamak High School Graduate Class of 2011. He worked as a farm-hand. Dillon liked 4-wheelers, boating, hunting and enjoyed archery. He loved hanging out with his friends. Dillon loved listening to and singing to his music.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
