JO ANN (WASMER) HAMILTON, 87, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 7:20 A.M. Sunday, October 31, 2021 in Gibson Family Cemter or Hospice Help in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born May 30, 1934 in Jasonville, IN to Joseph Wasmer and Minnie (Fields) Wasmer.
Survivors include her sons, David Brent Hamilton of West Terre Haute, IN, James Bruce Hamilton of Jasonville, IN; grandson, James Derrick Hamilton; nephew and nieces, Pamela Wasmer, D.J. Wasmer, Karen Sargent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Geneva Bledsoe; brother, Donald Wasmer.
Jo Ann graduated Jasonville High School Class of 1952. She loved and was devoted to her sons and caring for them. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting, picking up persimmons and loved cooking for her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday and 9 A.M. until service time Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 1 P.M. Thursday, November 4, 2021 with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
