JODI S. (WEBSTER) LUCAS, 53, of Clay City, IN passed away at 12:58 P.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.
She was born July 3, 1968 in Terre Haute, IN to Jarrie Alfred Webster and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Mayfair) Webster.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Joe L. Lucas of Clay City, IN who she married on September 26, 1992; children, Zach Lucas (Kylee) of Brazil, IN, Noah Lucas (Natalie) of Linton, IN, Shawn Lucas of Clay City, IN; grandchildren, Sophie Feutz, Bently Feutz, Austin Feutz, Myla Lucas, Raylin Welch; siblings, Toni Shell (Doug) of Prairie Creek, IN, Russell Webster (Barbara) of Terre Haute, IN, Joni McCall (Scott) of Terre Haute, IN, Randall Webster (Christy) of Terre Haute, IN, Tina Ginoplos of Terre Haute, IN, Rodney Webster of Terre Haute, IN, Jada Webster of Terre Haute, IN;many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jodi graduated from South Vermillion High School Class of 1987. She was a member of Coalmont Church of God. Jodi used to love to crochet until her hands weren’t able. She loved being around her grandchildren and family as well as her daycare. Jodi simply loved kids and caring for them. She was a kind and gentle soul.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Abundant Life Worship Center, 600 Forrest Street, Clay City, IN 47841. Funeral Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor David Smithofficiating.
Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, IN.
