JOHN DEAN CROWE, 87, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 5:20 A.M. Wednesday September 1, 2021 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born March 25, 1934 in Sullivan, IN to Ebron Crowe and Ruby (Sinders) Crowe.
Survivors include his significant other, Marcia Reese of Jasonville, IN; brother, Chuck Crowe of Jasonville, IN; niece and nephews, Scott Crowe (Peggy) of Jasonville, IN, Doug Crowe of Lima, OH, Cindy Shrum (Bud) of Tampa, FL, Tommy Crowe (Julie) of Greenwood, IN, Greg Crowe (Kathy) of Plainfield, IN. some great-nieces and nephews; friend, Matt Fox of Linton, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Tom Crowe.
John graduated Jasonville High School Class of 1953. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served for 4 years flying on sea planes. He was a member of American Legion Post# 328 in Riley, IN. John enjoyed model airplanes, and playing euchre.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are Tuesday, September 7, 2021 with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating followed by Military Honors at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of John to Riley Childrens Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
