DEVONNA BETH JOHNSON, 63, of Midland, Indiana passed away at 1:33 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Regional Hospital Terre Haute, IN.

She was born August 9, 1949 in Jasonville, IN to James “Red” Yeryar and Laura Beth (Fougerousse) Yeryar.

Survivors include her husband, Paul L. Johnson of Midland, IN whom she married on July 20, 1984; daughters & son-in-law, Nan & Bob West of Jasonville, IN, Mandy & Chris Simmons of Linton, IN; son & daughter-in-law, Greg & Ashley Kennett of Jasonville, IN; step-son, Chris Johnson of Prairie Creek, IN; grandchildren, Heather Grounds, Dustin West, Kyle West, Carson and Emrick Simmons, Madelyn and Lainey Kennett, Miranda, Reagan, Colin and Brinley Johnson; great-grandchildren, Waylon Dudley, Warren and Wheaton West; father, James “Red” Yeryar of Midland, IN; brothers & sisters-in-law, Jim & Shelia Yeryar of Midland, IN, John & Debbie Yeryar of Jasonville, IN, Gary & Pam Yeryar of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Yeryar; sister, Theresa Diane Yeryar; brother, Allen Dale Yeryar; great-grandson, Wyatt DeJesus.

Devonna was recently retired and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
