KAREN SUE DICKEY, 67, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Serenity Springs in Jasonville, IN.
She was born October 4, 1958 in Linton, IN to Dean Dickey and Rosie (Slater) Dickey.
Survivors include her mother, Rosie Dickey of Jasonville, IN; children, Josh Dickey of Jasonville, IN, Jess Faught of Jasonville, IN; granddaughter, Karly Dickey; siblings, Pam Powell of Linton, IN, Vicky Wallisa of Jasonville, IN, Ellen Ricketts (Larry) of Petersburg, IN, Debby Morano of California, Bobby Dickey of Hutsonville, IL; aunt, Connie Wools of Jasonville, IN; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her pets, George and Mouser.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, brother-in- law Van Wallisa.
Karen graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1977. She had worked in Home Health Care, Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home, cleaned houses, Pioneer Seed Company and Hardee’s. She attended Jasonville Assembly of God, Jasonville Church of Christ and Roosevelt Mission. Karen was a fulltime mom and loved spending time with her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 PM Monday October 5, 2026 at Anchored In Faith Church W 500 N, Linton, IN. Services are Immediately following at 8 PM with Pastor Larry Ricketts and Pastor Carl Beadle officiating. Following Services and in keeping with Karen’s wishes, cremation is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Karen to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the church.
