KATHRYN I. (TACKETT) COOPRIDER, 63, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9:35 P.M. Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Westminster Village in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born March 5, 1957 in Scioto, OH to William S. Tackett and Mary C. (Slayton) Tackett.
Kathryn married Russell “Rusty” Cooprider on March 19, 1994 and he passed away on April 17, 1994.
Survivors include her; children, Kimberly Bogard of Jasonville, IN, Elisia Herrick (Mark) of Lyles, TN, Jamie Ledcke (Dennis) of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Heidi, Ashlei, Gavin, Jessica, Dominik, Ashton, Kelton, Tasha, Mark; great-grandchildren, Angela, Kale, Adalynn, Charlotte; sister, Marilyn J. Seidel (Bill) of Whiteland, IN; nieces & nephews, Vicki Johnson (Tim), Debra Waltz (Don), Ben Tackett, William Tackett: several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bennett Tackett, 2nd husband, Russell “Rusty” Cooprider.
Kathryn worked as a CNA, the Cord Factory in Jasonville, Sun Beam factory in Linton. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, spending time with her family and traveling. Kathryn graduated from Whiteland High School and Indiana Business College.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with her wishes cremation is scheduled and a Gathering of Friends will be held at a later date.
