LARRY JOE KELLER, 70, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his brother’s home with his family by his side.  

He was born May 23, 1947 in Greene County, IN to Jewell Ernest Keller and Anna Caroline (Loveall) Keller.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Dawn Gallagher (Phillip) of Jasonville; grandchildren, Kaedyn Keller, Adalyn Gallagher, Kyle Gallagher, Kayla Gallagher; siblings, Donald Keller (Mary) of Jasonville, Connie Bland (Terry) of Indianapolis, Louise Gardner (James) of Worthington; sister-in-law, Marge Keller of LaPorte, IN; many nieces and nephews; other special family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Billy Paul “Bud” Keller, Pete Keller, Darrell Keller, Judy Castetter; nephews, Barry Keller, Tony Keller; grandson, Chance Hadley.

Larry had worked in his earlier years at Miller Coal Mine, LaPorte State Highway Dept, Amax Coal Company as a mechanic and most recently at the Jasonville Cord Factory. He was an Army Vietnam War Veteran. He was saved at Friendly Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and it didn’t matter if it was day or night. He liked tinkering on small engines and boat motors. He also liked country music, flirting with the waitresses at many restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 10 to 2 Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services immediately followed visitation at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Sluder officiating.

Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN with Military Graveside Rites.
