Kenneth Richard Davies, 77,  was born April 7th 1948 to William and Ella Pearl Davies in Linton, Indiana. Kenny went home to be with the Lord, February 2nd, 2026.
Kenny was proceeded in death by his parents, many aunts and uncles including his beloved Aunt Shirley that raised him and his siblings.
Kenny grew up in Jasonville, In and graduated from Shakamak high school in 1966. He then went to ISU to study education. In 1954 Kenny’s uncle’s and grandfather founded Harris Stone Inc. in Bainbridge, Indiana. Kenny and his brother Billy took over Harris Stone in the mid 90’s. Kenny took a lot of pride in his family business and never fully retired from being a boss.
Kenny loved to talk and reminisce with his friends about their glory days playing baseball and the many adventures they had. Kenny was a master story teller and loved to talk to anyone that would listen. Kenny loved to fish, garden and take care of the many projects that came with living in an old farm house.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Denise Davies of Bainbridge, his daughter Erica (Kiel) Cottongim of Coatesville and his son Evan (Jessica) Davies of Danville. Kenny chose to be called Grumpy by his 5 grandchildren Davis and Ella Cottongim, Trenten, Shawnna and Zoe Davies. He is also survived by his siblings, William Davies, Marjorie Davies, Mary Davies-Write, and numerous loved ones.
