KIMBERLY ANN “KIM” BUSKIRK, 60, of Midland, IN passed away at 2:35 A.M. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

She was born September 3, 1960 in Indianapolis, IN to Max Durham and Patricia “Pat” (Bailey) Durham.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Gilbert L. “Gilb” Buskirk of Midland, IN whom she married on June 16, 1979; children, Zachariah Buskirk & Fiancé Kristina Blair, Jordan Wayne Buskirk of Michigan City, IN; grandson, Gage Carson Pierce; siblings, Robin Asher of Libertyville, IN, Doris Fish (Don) of Midland, IN, Dee Keith of Somerset, KY, Ronda Eccles of Jasonville, IN, Rodney Durham (Bonnie) of Midland, IN; several nieces and nephews; beloved pets, Molly and Cookie and Granddog, Biscuit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Lawrance and Ruth Durham; maternal grandparents, Harold and Mable Bailey; brother in-laws, Jim Asher and Jeff Eccles; Aunt Maxine Wright, Uncle Don Durham.

Kim graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1980. She worked at Millers Merry Manor – Assisted Living in Sullivan, IN and Pizza Villa in Jasonville, IN. Kim attended and was a member of Lawton Street Christian Church where she was known as the “Bubble Gum Lady”. She was known for her fried chicken, homemade rolls, noodles and cherry pie.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 9 P.M. Friday and 9 A.M. until service time Saturday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are    11 A.M. Saturday, May 8, 2021 with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.

Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Kim to Peyton Manning Hospital. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
