DAVID E. KRAMER, 81, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:51 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born October 1, 1931 in Jasonville, IN to Albert F. Kramer and Violet M. (Ellis) Kramer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Vivian L.(Wade) Kramer of Jasonville, IN whom he married on November 2, 1952; daughter & son-in-law, Tanya “Red” & Chris Lancaster of Linton, IN; sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Marilyn Kramer of Jasonville, IN and Brett & Rebecca Kramer of Linton, IN; brother & sister-in-law, Don & Freddie Kramer of Jasonville, IN; sister-in-law, Betty Kramer of Linton, IN; brother-in-law, Ray Wade of California; grandchildren, Kent Kramer, Chelsey Skinner, Kurt Kramer, Kyle Kramer & Blake Kramer; great-grandchildren, Kash Kramer, Kasen Kramer, Preslee Kramer, Paislee Kramer & Sophia Skinner; niece & nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Morris Kramer; brother-in-law, Donald Wade.
David started work at A.F. Kramer & Son Feed Store, then VC Fertilizer Plant. He then went in partnership in Howesville Farm Service until his retirement in 1974. He then started PK Agronomics as owner/operator. He was involved with Agriculture-Agronomy-Fertilizer-Farm Chemicals and Feed for over 50 years. David was a Korean War Army Veteran.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 2 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
The Family asked in Lieu of flowers Contributions be made in memory of David to the Charity of choice. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
