LANA SUE HILDERBRAND, 68, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, IN. She was born December 27, 1941 in Greenville, OH to Warren “Bud” Thompson and Doris (Elicker) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Tom” Hilderbrand on September 17, 2001 whom she married on November 28, 1980.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Shelley & Jay Criss of Jasonville; sons, Kent Delph of New Mexico, William “Will” Hilderbrand II of Jasonville; step-son, Ronald & Kathy Hilderbrand of Macon, GA; step-daughter, Sheri & Tom Caldwell of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Taylor & Emily Criss, Arjuna & Savitri Delph, Ronald & Valerie Hilderbrand, Doug Case, Kim Case, and Sarah Caldwell; several step-great-grandchildren; three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Ronald Thompson & Terry Thompson.
Lana was a homemaker, a member of the Ladies Civitan in Linton and attended the Shakamak Community Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, IN
In lieu of flowers contributions were made to the Jasonville Friends of the Library.
