BILLIE J. (HIBBARD) LEDUNE, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN.
She was born August 31, 1938 in Sand Gap, KY to William G. Hibbard and Hazel (Young) Hibbard.
Billie married William D. LeDune on March 23, 1957 and he passed away on February 2, 1988.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Todd Boland of Terre Haute, IN, Lisa and Scott Standerfer of Ashmore, IL, Terri and Tim Clemons of Louisville, KY; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Susan LeDune of Spencer, IN; grandchildren, Tracy Rehmel, Amy Hammond, Carey Rehmel, Seth Boland, Phillip Humphreys, Donnie Standerfer, Billy Standerfer, Erik LeDune, Dani LeDune, Chelsea Gregory, Brian Barcikowski, Josh Hixon, Jazzi Clemons, T.J. Clemons; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Hibbard of Jasonville, IN, Brownie and Connie Hibbard of Jasonville, IN, Roger Hibbard of New Castle, IN; brother-in-law, Norman and Naoma LeDune of Linton, IN; special nephew, Jimmy Hibbard of Brooklyn, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters Juanita and Frieda.
Billie was an LPN specializing in Geriatric and Alzheimer care. She was a long time member of the Jasonville Church of God and later a member of Life Church in Indianapolis. She loved The Lord, family and music.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and Noon until 4 p.m. service time Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Cox Funeral Home with Tony Portell officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes were available at the funeral home.
