WILLIAM ROBERT “BOB” LEWIS, 83, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 1:10 p.m. Monday, December, 17, 2012 in Sullivan County Community Hospital.
He was born February 11, 1929 in Jasonville, IN to Richard Lewis and Coletta (Motsinger) Lewis.
Bob was dearly loved and survived by many relatives, friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Laura Louise (Reichert) Lewis; brother, Ted Lewis.
Bob worked at KF Smith Jewelers in Sullivan until opening his own shop Lewis Watch Shop in Jasonville where he served the community for many years. He was Past President of Indiana Association of Watch & Clock Makers, Shrine International, Sullivan County Shrine, Jasonville Masonic Lodge #530 F&AM where he was a 50-year member and Past Master, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute and Zorah Shrine.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service time Saturday at the Funeral Home. A Masonic Memorial Service was held prior to the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Funeral Services were 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Private interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
