Called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, Linda Dively was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was blessed with the love and companionship of her husband, Ellsworth Perry for 64 years. Together, they raised two children: Perry (Denise) and Sherry (Roger).

They were blessed with seven grandchildren: David (Tonya), Heather, Kelly, Melissa, Stephen (Markie), Karla (Jason), and Katie (Henry), and ten great-grandchildren: Haleigh, Rebecca, Caleb, Emelynn, Aria, MacKenzie, Layla, Spencer, Kian, and Sutton. She was also deeply loved by her beloved poodle, Maggie.

She also leaves behind sibling in law Nancy Hiles and Terry Whitsel.

A dedicated member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church pastored by Jerry Ross, Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Veachel; her siblings, Charley, Harry, Delbert, Leland, Gary, Ethel, and Herman; her son, Perry; and her granddaughter, Heather, her parents in law Ann Tonelli and Fred Dively, brothers in law Charlie and Elwood Dively.

Linda was well known for her culinary talents and loved to cook for family and friends. Outside the kitchen, she found joy in fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, and traveling with her husband. Her heart was fullest in being a mother and Nanny.

In 2013, Linda retired after owning and running her own restaurant, where she shared her love for cooking with many.

She will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering devotion to her family and God, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Service is scheduled Saturday. March 29, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Hope Baptist Church with Visitation at 9:00 A.M. until the time of service with Pastor Jonathan Ryser.

Interment will be at Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute, IN.
