LINDA KAY (BEAUCHMAN) MASON, 70, of Terre Haute, IN went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026 surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born September 21, 1955 in Vigo County, IN to Thomas H. Beauchman and Mary (Letner) Beauchman.

Linda married Sammy Jo Mason on April 3rd, 1972. They were blessed with 48 years of a wonderful marriage.

Survivors include her daughters, Samantha Douglas of Terre Haute, IN, Brittany Wilson (Lummie) of Terre Haute, IN; son-in-law, Robert Samm; grandchildren, Kalynn Shelton (Nate), Kelsey Jackson (Chance), Maxine Faye, Jadyn Samm (Courtney), Sammie Douglas, Heavenly Nicole, and Brooklyn Wilson; she was loved and adored by all 10 of her great-grandchildren; she shared a special bond with each sibling, Edna (Sam) Barnett, Connie Milton, Rebecka Darkis, Linda Marie (Robert) Clements, Thomas H. Beauchman, Charles Sr. (Linda) Beauchman; and loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sammy Jo; daughter, Tammy Samm; son-in-law, Buddy Douglas; siblings, Mary (Ellwin) Vaughn, Nellie Gresham, Beaulah Prouse; brother-in-law, William Milton, and nephew, Roy J. Charles.

Linda was devoted to her Lord and Savior and attended Cross Tabernacle Church. She and Sammy Jo were very involved in ministry together including; motorcycle and outreach. She loved and devoted her time to her family, making forever memories with each one of them. Linda looked forward to her beach vacations with her tanning oil. Not to be kept from the sun when she was home, she worked in her yard and on her flowers.  Linda graduated valedictorian of her class while holding a career for 30 plus years in healthcare working with elderly patients at Lakeview, Southwood, and Signature Healthcare where she recently received her 10 year pin. Linda was always volunteering to help the residents and singing for them. She was always on the go and could be found playing cards with her family and friends, as well as shopping at the quarter store (Helping Hands). Linda will be remembered for lighting up the room with her contagious smile, humor, and outgoing personality.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation will be held at Cross Tabernacle Church 2929 N. 7th St, Terre Haute, IN 47804 on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m.

Interment will be at Durham Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN.
