Loren A. Boyll, age 87, of Shelburn, passed away March 17, 2021 in Jasonville, IN.

Born December 17, 1933 in Sullivan, he was the son of Elza Boyll and Rilla (Davis) Boyll.

Loren graduated from Farmersburg High School in 1951. He was a truck driver and also worked in lumber, logging and saw mills.

He was a member of the Hymera Southern Baptist Church where he served as deacon. His hobbies included watching westerns, reading, going to gospel music concerts, playing the piano, and enjoying traveling.

He is survived by his second wife, Hazel Lucille Boyll. Survivors in addition to his wife include children, Steven Boyll (Melanie), Shelburn, Rita Keller (Wendell), Shelburn, and Thomas Boyll (Tricia Drew), Terre Haute; stepchildren, Jim Darrow (Patty), Robinson, IL, Judy Brown (Marty), Vincennes, Gail Tincher (Randy), Bicknell, and Greg Darrow, Cory, IN; brother, Jerry Boyll (Joyce), Farmersburg, and Bob Boyll (Hazel), Farmersburg; grandchildren, Shannon Haring (Zach), Matthew Boyll (Jessica), Holly Arnett (Gevan), Josh Boyll (Courtney), Daniel Boyll, Ashley Keller, and Kevin Keller (Heather); 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lula “Tink” Boyll; brothers, Wayne Boyll, Lawrence Boyll, and Wilbur Boyll; and a sister, Margaret Ann Boyll.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm in the Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 PM with Pastor Jonathan Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the K of P Cemetery.
