MARIANNE (HUMPHREYS) BARTON, 65, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 in Greene County General Hospital Linton, IN. She was born September 28, 1944 in Sullivan, IN to Willard Humphreys and Lula Grace (Parker) Humphreys.
Marianne had recently worked at the Twist & Shake serving as manager, also she previously worked at Sea Cove, Crosscut, Klein’s Kountry Kitchen, Sharon’s Kountry Kitchen Restaurants and GE in Linton from 1963-1976.
She is survived by her husband, Harold David “Dave” Barton of Jasonville; sons & daughters-in-law, Mike & Lisa Turley of Poland and Jeff & Sara Barton of Terre Haute; daughter, Kim Sanders of Linton; sisters & brother-in-law, Marsha Easter of Louisville, KY and Emily & Bill Barnsfather of Louisville; brothers & sisters-in-laws, Steve & Donna Humphreys of Estero, FL and Phil & Sandi Humphreys of Bastrop, TX; grandchildren, Missy & Aaron Driscol, Alicia Turley, Mikey Turley, Jocelyn Barton, Kaelyn Barton, Brooklyn Barton, Chris Sanders, Casey James Clark; great-granddaughter, Brianna Driscol; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Harold J. & Rosella Barton of Linton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private Services were conducted. Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Ferguson-Lee Inc., Cox Chapel.
