MARK E. REINTJES, 59, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:28 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026 in Ascension Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born September 18, 1966 in Indianapolis, IN to Marvin Theodore Reintjes and Deloris (Vickers) Reintjes.

Survivors include his children,  Josh Reintjes (Tatyana) of Cincinnatti, OH, Nick Reintjes of Fishers, IN, Caressa Reintjes (Gavin Haviland) of Jasonville, IN, Dylan Mathis of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Athena Reintjes, Atticus Reintjes, Emmerly Haviland; siblings, David Reintjes of Zepher Hills, FL, Teresa Cazee (Don) of Jasonville, IN, John Reintjes (Melissa) of Sullivan, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Joshua Denny.

Mark graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1985. He worked in Heating and Cooling as well as in maintenance. He had worked for Gibson Phone Company as well. Mark enjoyed fishing, loved music, playing the guitar and drums. He loved setting around a campfire, and sharing it with family and friends. Mark enjoyed cooking, and loved motorcycles. He was a member of Jasonville American Legion Post# 172 SAL. He enjoyed driving around Shakamak State Park with his dogs. Mark was baptized at Lebanon Baptist Church when he was younger. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026 at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating.

Interment will be at Morris Chapel Cemetery, Dugger, IN.
