LAURA ELLEN MARTIN, 51, of Midland, Indiana passed away at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, IN.
She was born November 25, 1960 in Peru, IN to John Roland Bean, Sr. and Janet Lou (Hawkins) Bean.
Survivors include her husband, Keith Martin of Midland, IN whom she married on May 21, 1999; son & daughter-in-law, Jason & Megan Brinegar of Bloomington, IN; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Rick Helton of Indianapolis, IN; brother, John R. Bean, Jr. of Mitchell, IN.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Lou Bean in August of 1990; father, John Roland Bean, Sr. in August of 2002.
Laura was a 1978 graduate of Bloomington High School. She worked at Omico Plastics in Owensboro, KY and previously at RCA in Bloomington. She was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed camping, caving, racing with her husband, gardening and working crossword puzzles.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 11 -1 Friday. Funeral Services were 1 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
