VIVIAN D. MARTINDALE, 63, of Kokomo and formerly of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 9:23 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Howard Regional Hospital, Kokomo, IN. She was born September 11, 1947 in Roark, KY to Forester Collett and Naomi (Logston) Collett.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. “Bob” Martindale of Kokomo, IN whom she married June 12, 1965; son & daughter-in-law, Troy & Carol Martindale of Jasonville, IN; daughter, Tracy Martindale of Kokomo, IN; sisters & brother-in-law, Barbara & Paul Midle of Evansville, IN, Cindy Brown of Sullivan, IN; grandchildren, Ashlie Martindale, Destiny Martindale, Bradley Martindale & Chasity Martindale; sisters-in-law, Linda & David Norris of Orlando, FL, Cathy Martindale of Orlando, FL, Phyllis Martindale of Farmersburg, IN; brother-in-law, Steve & Lana  Martindale of Sullivan, IN; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Ed Martindale; father-in-law, Wayne Martindale; mother-in-law, Hazel Martindale.

Vivian had worked first as an LPN at Linton Nursing Home and later at the Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Respite Care in Sullivan. She graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1965, graduated Ivy Tech College in Terre Haute as an LPN.

Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, IN. Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 10 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at the St. Joan of Arc Church in Jasonville, IN with Father Frank Renner officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Linton, IN.
