LINDA KAY MASSEY, 70, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away at 3:55 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 in Sullivan County Community Hospital, Sullivan, IN.
She was born August 10, 1947 in Chicago, IL to William J. Boyd, Sr. and Audrey P. (McComk) Boyd.
Survivors include her husband, Richard K. Massey, Sr. of Jasonville who she married on February 22, 1970; children, Richard K. Massey, Jr. of Jasonville, Sandy Allen Bharns of Missouri, Denise Marie Bharns of Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Bill Boyd (Sharon) of Jasonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was a homemaker. She loved to read, do ceramics and spend time with her family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Cremation was chosen and a Gathering of Friends was 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Memorial Services immediately followed visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment was at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
