DANIEL J. MATTESON, 51, of Hymera, IN passed away at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN.
He was born November 2, 1963 in Sullivan, IN to James B. Matteson and Linda Kay (Hutchison) Matteson.
Survivors include his father Jim Matteson of Hymera, IN; brother & sister-in-law, Mike & Judy Matteson of Hymera, IN; grandmother, Louise Matteson of Hymera, IN; uncle, Thomas & Ada Matteson of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda K. Matteson; brother, Troy Matteson; grandfather, Thomas Matteson.
Daniel was a member of the Hymera Baptist Church. He enjoyed being an amateur radio operator and held his hamm license, he also loved country music.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation was scheduled from 4 – 8 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Graveside Services were 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at the West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN with Pastor Brad West officiating.
