LINDA L. MATTOX, 75, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 4:12 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, IN
She was born October 31, 1936 in Jasonville, IN to Welby Crysel & Frieda (Chubb) Crysel.
Linda married E. David Mattox on May 22, 1954.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, E. David Mattox of Jasonville, IN; daughter & son-in-law, Debra K. & John Yeryar of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Krista Yeryar, Brent Yeryar and Jesse Yeryar; several great-grandchildren; sister, June F. Vaughn of Pendleton, IN; brother, Chuck W. Crysel of Jasonville, IN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty J. Burger; brother, James R. Crysel.
Linda graduated from Jasonville High School Class of 1954. She was a member of the Coalmont Church of God. Linda worked at the Shakamak IGA in the deli, and Formfit in Jasonville.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services were 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Joy Rehmel officiating.
Interment was at Sanders Cemetery in Rural Jasonville.
