BARBARA JEAN MCBRIDE, 82, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 in her residence.
She was born February 3, 1935 in Lawrenceville, IL to John Edward Lowrence and Ida Marie (Siefert) Lowrence.
Survivors include her children, Edward Eugene McBride (Janice) of Worthington, David Lee McBride of Sullivan, Samuel Ray McBride (Brenda) of Sullivan, Naomi Marie McBride of Sullivan, Barbara Viola McBride of Sullivan; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Diane Ivy of Texas, Thelma Wright of Sullivan, John Lowrence (Deb) of Shelburn, Robert Lowrence of Sullivan; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sarah Rose Ivy, Ardith Newman, Harold Lowrence, Walter Lowrence, Ray Keith Lowrence.
Barbara had worked at the Jasonville Cord Factory and Keller Aluminum. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church.
Arrangements were entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN; coxfuneralhomejasonville.com. A Gathering of Friends was scheduled from Noon to 1 Friday at the funeral home. Funeral Services immediately followed at 1 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Cremation was chosen.
